MIDC Industries Association celebrated its 32nd Foundation Day on 2nd Feb 2017 at MIA House, MIDC, Hingna. The Chief guest of the function was the commissioner of Police Dr. K. Venkatesham.
The function was held under the guidance of the president of MIA Capt. C. M. Randhir. During the interaction with the audience, the President of MIA informed the house about the area in general and various problems being faced by the industrialists in their day to day working. On behalf of all the industrialists, the C.P. was requested to solve traffic problems at WADI junction, thefts & robbery in Hingna, encroachments in the industrial area and mushrooming of anti social activities. Dr. K. Venkatesham, in his address assured that necessary actions shall be taken. He informed that he has already deployed his best man for the job PI Mr. Sunil D. Mahadik. He also informed about various steps he has initiated immediately after taking up the post. The setting up of “BHAROSA Cell” for the safety of women and victim assistance, setting up of Nagpur centre of Police training, refurbhishing all police stations, professional training on emotional intelligence for this officers and usage of technology for up-gradation of working at police stations.
Earlier, the secretary of MIA, Shri C. G. Shegaonkar briefed the guest about the history & activities of MIA which were very much appreciated by the C.P. During the programme, all the earlier presidents of the Association were felicitated for their contribution to the success of MIA. It was followed by giving away the “Entrepreneur Excellence Awards” to Mr. Anil Onkar, Director of Onkar Furnitech, Mr. Ashok Kale, Director of Sanstar Microsystems and Mr. Latesh Agrawal owner of Automation Controls.
Mr. Sachin Jain, Joint Secretary was the mentor of Ceremony, while the Treasurer Mr. S. M. Patwardhan proposed Vote of Thanks. The programme was attended by the office bearers of VIA, BMA namely Mr. Atul Pande, Mr. Nitin Lonkar and fellow Industrialists of MIDC Hingna.
